Last night, the Golden State Warriors completed the already anticipated four game sweep of the Utah Jazz with a 121-95 victory in Salt Lake City. Stephen Curry was the high point man for the Warriors as he poured in 30 points on 9-15 shooting from the field and going 4-10 from the three-point line. Draymond Green recorded a triple double scoring 17 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and recording 11 assists. Kevin Durant also added in 18 points on 7-14 shooting from the field.
The Golden State Warriors are 8-0 to start the playoffs and find themselves advancing to their third straight Western Conference Finals. The Warriors have yet to really be challenged in this years playoffs and they seem to be fairly okay with that. They will then have accumulated approximately two weeks of rest once the Western Conference Finals start as they await the winner of the Rocket vs. Spurs series. This rest will be very much needed for players to have the extra time to heal any lingering injuries they may have accrued during the regular season and the playoffs. The team has not put out a preference of who they would rather face in the Western Conference Finals, but they will still be keeping a close eye on the Rocket vs. Spurs series as well as maybe taking a small look at the still ongoing Celtics vs. Wizards series.
