Despite having one of their worst shooting nights of the season, the Golden State Warriors still managed to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 119-108. Kevin Durant poured in twenty-seven points and eight rebounds while Draymond Green had an impressive double-double with scoring fourteen points and dishing out eleven assists. Klay Thompson added in twenty-one points of his own to add to the double digit win on Monday night.
I am sure many of you are wondering, what about Stephen Curry? Well Stephen Curry was actually the topic of discussion after the game was over. Stephen Curry shot a personal worst 0-11 from three-point range, a game no one saw coming from the reigning MVP. Though he did add in nineteen points and six assists in the victory, he did take twenty-three shots to get those nineteen points. What was most shocking about this bad feat was this was actually the second time this season where Stephen Curry failed to record a three-point make in a game he played. Earlier in the season, Curry went 0-10 from three-point range on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers. The thing about this is, Stephen Curry broke the NBA record for made three-point shots in a game, with thirteen made three’s, the very next game he played against the New Orleans Pelicans at home. This can only mean we are about to witness a huge bounce back game for the two-time MVP. Catch the next Golden State Warriors game tonight as they take on the Washington Wizards on the second game of a back-back, on the road, tonight at 4 p.m.PT/7 p.m.ET!
